I am told that I am kind, faithful, loyal, honest, attentive, caring, sincere, not very jealous, and an understanding man who is also patient, and persistent with my goals in my life. I am also told that I am a very affectionate person with a deep passion for life and for the woman who would make me her husband. When my youngest son was 3 yrs old, he had a brain tumor and the doctors would only give his mom and me a 30% chance that he would live due to tumor. I was face with the sovereignty of God. I prayed and asked God what I was to do…get my family ready for a funeral or what. The still small of God told me that my son would be well, be playing with his bothers, and be under my roof. Three times I prayed and got the same answer. I then asked God to get this show going and 15 minutes later the brain surgeon came in and told me that my son was so critical that they were taking the next available operating room and were going to operate. He told me that after the surgery that they would use Chemo therapy and then use radiation and the tumor might take 18 months before it took my son! We had 14 churches over 4 states here in the US praying for him and I did not know it at the time. Well when it cam time to take him to the operating room, my son would not let go without me carrying him! I carried him down one long long hall and then down another long hall and into the operating room and laid him on the operating table. As I was about to leave, my son cried out begging me not to leave. Every cell every fiber in me screamed with such pain that I can not describe. As I left the room all I could think about was telling him that Jesus was with him. Six hours later in the recovery room, I looked down on my small son and wanted to make him feel better and I told him that I loved him. He told me that he knew that! I asked him a 3 year old knew that and he told me that Jesus had told him. I then asked him when he had done that and he said while he was sleeping. The doctor told me later that night that they almost lost my son three or four times during the operation! This is how I know that pray works and God is still in the miracle business. Every day of my life is a testimony of God love for me. Whether in training, combat, or as a Federal Agent, my life has been one giant miracle. Now I wait to meet my miracle mate! This woman knows that when I send her a smile that she is special already and that she has my attention. And I want her to smile back at me and show me that she cares for my smiles too! I want her love so much!
